I can’t stay more than a week in Turin. I have always looked for a way to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, so constructed and artificial. Walking in the mountains seemed to me the only way to perceive reality, the real world, the one that is still genuine and authentic.
Walking means opening up to the world. To awaken the happy consciousness of one’s own existence and solicit the full participation of all the senses, reviving ‘CURIOSITY’, the characteristic that makes a ‘designer’, an ‘excellent designer’.
My passion for the mountains was the main lever that prompted me to collaborate with Hikers to develop a new, more solid and clear Brand Identity for the target audience.
Trekking taught me not to cheat, to be honest with myself and what I was doing. It’s not just fun, it’s good to keep that in mind. So I made a board game that can entertain but at the same time teach something.
