Japanese cartoonist and animator

and animator

Mr. Matsumoto is one of the world’s greatest manga cartoonists. Among his best-known science fiction works are Space Battleship Yamato, Captain Harlock and Galaxy Express 999, which were adapted into very successful animated television programs and films. His latest film, Space Pirate Captain Harlock, released in Japan in 2013, was distributed worldwide.
