Considered the greatest car designer in history, Mr. Giugiaro designed over 200 iconic models, including the Volkswagen Golf and historic bestsellers for Fiat such as the Lancia Delta, the Thema, the Fiat Panda, the Uno, the Croma, the Punto and the Grande Punto. He also developed important projects such as the Maserati Coupé and Spyder and the Alfa Romeo 159, 159 SportWagon and Brera. He has received seven honorary degrees and was nominated the Car Designer of the Century in Las Vegas. Mr. Giugiaro has always actively supported IAAD., offering special lectures and guiding thesis projects.
