After graduating, Massimo embarked on an international career that led him to Bertone, Ford and KIA. In 2011, he joined Land Rover as head of their creative studio.

He oversaw the exterior design of models such as Discovery Sport, New Discovery, New Range Rover Velar, New Range Rover Evoque and New Defender. In late 2020, he moved into the role of design director, overseeing exterior design for Jaguar and Land Rover from concept to delivery, starting with the launch of the New Range Rover in 2021. He loves all aspects of design but has other passions as well: drumming, good food, animals and Juventus.
