Massimo Frascella is the Audi AG Chief Creative Officer and a recognised expert in the Automotive Design world with over 25 years of experience.
He currently leads the Audi Design organisation and the development from concept to delivery of all vehicles as well as the Brand Creative work. Overseeing all global studios – including Ingolstadt, Malibu and Beijing locations.
Before joining Audi, Massimo has held the role of JLR Design Director, responsible for the design development of all vehicles for all four JLR brands – Range Rover, Defender, Discovery and Jaguar.
Amongst other programs, he places the Range Rover Velar, the New Defender, New Range Rover and Range Rover Sport as his significant design achievements during this time.
Massimo has also created and delivered the new vision of the future Jaguar Brand.
Previously, Massimo has held roles at Kia Motors and Ford Motor Company – Lincoln Mercury – starting his career at the prestigious coach builder Stile Bertone. During these years he has delivered commercially successful and brand defining products like the 2009 Kia Sorento, 2010 Kia Sportage, 2011 Kia Rio and the 2013 Kia Soul. He completed a Transportation Design Degree from Istituto D’Arte Applicata & Design in Turin.
Massimo’s work has won numerous Design Awards and he has been personally recognised by the industry with the AutomotiveNews Rising Star and Eurostar Awards.
