The outdoor Lounge space was designed and prototyped by students of the two-year specialized program in Interior and Product Design of Accademia Italiana. This project represents a concrete example of circular design, where pallets, crates used for the handling of artworks, and other wooden elements from the logistics chain that have reached the end of their useful life, transform into modular seating and tables, providing an opportunity for upcycling.
The furnishings of the Lounge is developed by FERCAM Echo Labs, a non-profit social enterprise.
