IAAD. River Laab is an experimental project for the incubation of ideas and research activities.
This experiment will start with the work done by students in their individual thesis projects from the 2020-21 academic year, with the goal of supporting selected projects in the continuation of their research and\/or transformation from idea to real start-up.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

DIGITAL ANTHROPOMORPHISM: HOW TECHNOLOGY HAS MADE US MORE HUMAN<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This project is an analysis of trends in contemporary society that will result in a research report presenting themes found in contemporary and future social trends. Technological culture, with its modus operandi<\/em>, has established dynamics of thinking in contemporary society that bring with them the characteristic space-time obsession. The World Wide Web has pushed our identities into a dimension of ubiquitous immanence, that expresses tensions beyond dualism, leading us to redesign the reality that exists within us and that surrounds our perception of self within it. The power of technology has therefore developed such an influence that it can alter the individual\u2019s perception.Time loses its linearity and acquires a circular, synchronous, synaesthetic meaning. Space and tie lose their linearity and find balance in a new, synaesthetic corporeality, archetype of the Mother and Father who guide the individual in the discovery of a new self-awareness and awareness of the surrounding world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LAVANDA 360<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Lavanda 360 is a pilot project whose purpose is to patent a green technology that uses a low impact method to extract raw material that can be used in various markets of global interest (textiles, fashion, design, packaging, paper, objects, etc.). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The process originated with the extraction of lavender but it is potentially replicable with other raw materials. The business idea responds to a need dictated by the market, as it contributes to the achievement of some of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to be achieved by 2030. It contributes to goal 8 (decent work and economic growth), goal 9 (industry, innovation and infrastructure), goal 12 (responsible consumption and production), goal 13 (climate action) and goal 17 (partnership for the goals).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

ViVI<\/strong>
THE PLATFORM OF CONTEMPORARY CREATIVE<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The project aims to create a platform for creatives that not only offers dedicated content and training, but also a technological and intelligent product for the management of creative work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ViVi identifies its main target in SMEs of craftsmanship and creativity (and in students), with the aim of improving their research activity, providing a theoretical-scientific basis, a method and a technological means to conduct it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

NAI-GLOVE SHOOTING IMPROVER<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

AI-GLOVE was born of the need for a training tool for shooting basketball. In this sport, which was created and named by James Naismith in 1891, we find two main fundamental motions, dribbling and shooting the ball. Both involve a movement of the wrist which, through training, becomes a muscular reflex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To refine this technique, a glove was designed that has elastic resistances with three adjustable levels, from the lightest to the heaviest, that force the movement that the wrist makes from a resting position to a 90\u00b0 angle. Used during training, the glove will create muscle memory to improve the technique. The finished product will be simple and low-cost, perfect to market for basketball clubs and teams.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
