presentation of the new IAAD Bachelor in “Textile and fashion design”

Near to the inauguration of the new academic year (October 2014) and the opening of the new three year Bachelor course in “Textile and fashion design,” IAAD opens the doors of the university organizing a panel discussion titled Textile and fashion design: transformations and new professions.

Fashion and design continues to distinguish itself by representing the Italian identity in the world and its continuing evolution, as well as the relentless pursuit that is at the origin of the avant-garde nature which requires ever new professionals, able to understand and interpret the changes of techniques and to process them in cultural and aesthetic models and innovative alternative.

The course responds to the demand of the international market of trained professionals to interface with the many facets of the fashion market. Not only fashion stylist able to interpret the signs and language of fashion and design and  ready to interact with the areas of creative design and style, but also cool-hunter, trend-setter, quality manager, talent scout, fashion editor, blogger, art director, e-commerce expert, visual merchandiser, and many other professional roles have become indispensable to fashion companies.
