Enterprises are made of people and individuals, by their nature, tend to personalize their lives and actions.
A design school is a project that comes true and renews itself every year. As a dear friend, Enrico Morteo, says “design means giving a glance at the future: it’s not foretelling tomorrow, but modifying today”. Following a vision, I should add.
IAAD chooses quality because believes in its value. It chooses not to open premises in other countries in the world, but to co-operate with other universities and design schools, personalizing the collaboration with qualified partners, to offer the students a specialized education, coherent with market evolution, which is different in different part of the world.
IAAD believes in co-operation as a constructing value. It believes in constant dialogue and comparison as inexhaustible source of new stimuli towards enhancement: we have the privilege of sharing thoughts and experiences with extraordinary people, who we owe our past, our present and our future.
The Director, in this reality, has the task of being the guarantor of this corporate and didactic philosophy, based on individual’s value as distinctive element inside a society that has a physiological tension towards globalization.
The Director is the guarantor of the students’ value, rights and duties, continuously chooses and updates the professors’ staff and the courses programs, to give a constantly updated and qualified education, aware that the real success of a school is its students.
My hearty welcome is for everybody who shall have the curiosity and the will of knowing IAAD and, maybe, being part of it.
Welcome!
